It would seem the folks at PA have teamed up with the folks at Hothead Games (the people making the PA game) and created playgreenhouse.com (http://playgreenhouse.com) a site that will not just sell their own game but aspires to help independent gamers sell their games. Right now all they have is the PA game listed and that's not available yet. We'll see, it wouldn't be the first time someone purported to provide independent game developers a home...

It would be really cool if it took off, but if it was direct download, it would need to be like steam.... cuz Steam is cool in that I can download those games again and again with my ID... although i rarely do, and forget my ID a lot.

It seems Steam has already filled that void for DD, and the PA game is even available on Steam, so really, this is kind of redundant. Maybe if they helped indie game developers get on steam or maybe funding grants or what have you, then I'll take this more seriously. Right now, I appreciate and applaud their effort but don't see what it can possibly do in the grand scheme.

What is interesting to me is that they look to be pushing for platform agnosticism.
Both Steam and Stardock Central are PC only, even if the games they sell have mac or linux versions. Crazy.
