Due to work Sony is doing on their store they won't be adding new material for a couple weeks

There were rumors from some rather reliable sources that PSN Store would be getting a complete overhaul to coincide with the April 15th release of GT5:P and the DualShock 3. This makes it sound almost certain.

Edit: They got around to confirming it (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/31/playstation-store-redesign-unwrapped-weekly-updates-suspended/).

The song is so hilariously offensively bad, that I couldn't help but laugh through the whole thing. It's awesome in a 'so bad it's good' kind of way. Honestly, neither song belongs in Rock Band, but if I had to pick one, I'd rather play this song than Still Alive.

In other words, nothing fundamental is changing in regards to the playstation store. They've been adding a whole lot of absolutely nothing for months.

Played it, got my 100%, and I think I'm 3rd on the leaderboards now. Just can't outdo Tobbias or Billtvshow. :( We all worked on the OD pathing together though...

Is this a limited time free DL? Are there other RB songs that are free to DL?

I don't have the game yet, but my brother brought it over the last time he was here and I really liked it and need to pick it up at some point.

I would hope it is, but unless they've disabled regular song browsing via the marketplace you could probably find Rock Band's clunky downloadable list and just download Still Alive to your hard drive, even without the game.

Or maybe that wouldn't work. I dunno.

"Still Alive" is the only free song, as far as I know. "Crushcrushcrush", "Beethoven's C***" and "Shockwave" are currently 99ยข/80MSP apiece. They'll probably go up to regular price eventually, as the Christmas releases did.
