Valve looking at developing for Wii U

According to an interview with Joystiq yesterday, Valve’s Gabe Newell is professing his company’s interest in Nintendo’s new upcoming platform.

The Valve president and co-founder gave his comments at yesterday’s Games For Change conference, stating that it “seems to be a lot more powerful than the previous generation,” and that it fits Valve’s “scalability model.”

Does this mean we’ll have dual-screen, touch-based hat simulators in the near future? Only time will tell!
