Can The Old Republic possibly be as exciting as the intro?

The Sith have returned, the Republic is in danger, a smuggler finds it in him to fight for good, and a young Jedi seeks their fortune. We might have heard this before, but it’s actually the intro to Star Wars: The Old Republic from Bioware and EA.

It’s got all the great marks of an action packed Star Wars sequence – droids, lightsabers, blaster fire, great music and intense fight choreography.

But – this is an intro to an MMO. Can clicking ‘fight’ over and over again ad nauseum, controlling a character that has no connection to this intro at all, possibly compare?
