Square finalizes Final Fantasy Versus XIII story

First announced in 2006, Final Fantasy Versus XIII finally has a complete story.

According to an inteview in the recent Dengeki magazine, it was revealed that the game’s story has been locked down. The character designs and clothing designs have also been finalized. Considering that earlier this week, we started seeing gameplay images thanks to Famitsu, it seems that the game is really coming along.

Of course, the development of Final Fantasy XIII had resources from the Versus project redirected to the ‘main’ game, so it stands to reason that now with Final Fantasy XIII complete, we’ll be seeing an increase in speed on Versus’ development.
