Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars – Fall 2010

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars – Fall 2010

Feb 8, 2010

Traveler’s Tales and LucasArts have once again teamed up to bring the universe of Star Wars to videogame consoles in the form of those lovable swedish building blocks – Legos. After 3 highly successful entries – Lego Star Wars, Lego Star Wars 2 and Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga, gamers will be able to return to the brick building fun in that far, far away galaxy, this time playing through the events of the popular Cartoon Network series “The Clone Wars”.

The game will center around the events of the first two seasons of the show and let players take the roles of just about everyone who has appeared on the show and (if past games are an example) just about anyone else in the Star Wars cannon. The game will feature new play modes and even feature the level editor introduced in Lego Indiana Jones 2.

“LucasArts continues to set the bar for next-generation family entertainment,” said president of LucasArts, Darrell Rodriguez. “The Lego Star Wars franchise is a massive hit with fans, bringing in sales of over 20 million units worldwide. We’re thrilled to extend this experience to Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, delivering the humor and fun players expect from this award winning franchise.”

No word yet on any online features, but same screen co-op is pretty much a given.

The latest Lego game will hit every console (PS3, 360, Wii, DS, PSP, and PC) in the Fall of 2010.

But then you realise he's 2 inches tall at best and you could crush him under your foot.
