You may have heard about the blank Nintendo 64 cartridge being auctioned off over the holidays, with 25% proceeds going toward Child’s Play. Over the course of the auction, the anonymous seller increased the auction to three unnamed N64 games, “a red sharpie, seven paper clips, and a few pieces of candy.”
However, now with the auction over, the winning bidder has left some auspicious negative feedback for the seller, claiming he was ripped off and that the seller was a jerk.
We’ve contacted the buyer to find out the full story and will update you when he gets back to us.
Edit: The buyer, one jerry24214 says that the game was not only blank on the outside, but on the inside as well. So the mystery game that was on auction, was no game at all. Technically, one could say that all that was up for auction was a cartridge, but it’s still kind of shady.
No word on if jerry24214 got the other games, the sharpie marker or the paper clips that were also supposed to be included in the auction.
Edit 2: Guess he didn’t get the marker, paper clips, or the other games that were mentioned in the auction. We’ll try to find out if the guy even sent the promised 25% to Child’s Play or not, but we’re starting to doubt it.

Man thats some bs…. what a jerk!
i heard the buyer didnt even pay….
Where’d you hear that from?
Apparently “jerry24214″ never paid, so the games were never sent. Just made an account (note his zero feedback), won the bid and then left negative feedback. Also, the games on offer were purportedly smash bros, blast corps and space station silicon valley.
Supposedly the seller was posting in a thread about the whole thing on NeoGAF during the entire auction and only revealed himself as the seller after the auction was over. I’m inclined to believe the dude, since his avatar is an animated gif of bayonetta’s behind.
