God Of War 3 Unleashed March 16th 2010

Jan 28, 2010

One of Sony’s most popular series, the God of War games have sold millions of copies and moved almost as many consoles – for the Playstation 2, yet come March 16th 2010 Kratos will bring his brand of bloody violence to the PS3 for the first time.

God Of War 3, developed by SCEA, has been on many PS3 owner’s “Must Play Lists” since the console first came out, and until now all most gamers had were screenshots and videos. Then late last year Sony gave the masses a revamped and HD-ified version of God of War 1 and 2 in the God of War Collection for the PS3, that also let players get their first taste of the third game through a nice demo.

God of War 3 will be rated “M for Mature” – sure to feature violence, blood, decapitations, amputations and ample nudity. The game will be available as a standalone title for $59.99 or also in a “Pandora’s Box” Collectors Edition for $99.99.

I'm still debating on the Pandora's Box edition - but it DOES look cool.

  2. Maverick's Avatar Maverick says:

It IS pretty neat, but I kinda feel like I'm over that sorta stuff. Like, I'm not going to put that sorta thing on a shelf or whatever. Invite some ladies over, "Hey do you want to look at my GOD OF WAR 3 PANDORA BOX?" It seems excessive.

  3. God of War Collection also dipped to $30.

  4. Randolph's Avatar Randolph says:

Only one week after FF13, and I bet Yakuza 3 hits either that same week or the week after as well. Thankfully my tax returns will have come in by then.

Yeah, March is gonna be a fun month >< I have to go to PAX at the end of March too!
