Dead or Alive Girls: “In the Palm of Your Hands”

Dead or Alive Girls: “In the Palm of Your Hands”

Jan 23, 2010

Tecmo’s latest offering in their Dead or Alive Bikini Beach Party series will be hitting shelves this coming April, and will finally allow gamers everywhere to take their imaginary girlfriends on the road. “Take your girls anywhere,” the fact sheet states, “and play with them anytime.”

The screens seem pretty impressive for a PSP game, so it will be interesting to see if the stuff floating around out there is legit or just bullshot.

Certain contributors to the Virtual Underground who will remain unnamed will also be interested to know the game is set to include a Kasumi figurine.

well these are probably way easier to churn out, and there's definitely a market for them

personally I bought DOAX:2 out of curiosity and because buy.com was running a deal where it was basically free, but I wish I hadn't because it was so boring

I bought DOAX2 because I love DOA and the DOA girls. Sadly, it was money wasted as there just wasn't enough of a game in there. I used to go after every costume in DOA as they'd become increasingly scanty but you can't have a game where that's all you're doing. The jet skiing was lame, the party games were just QTEs - one of the worst games I have ever paid money for, and it was even on sale.

Yeah, curiosity for girls in bikinis jumping around playing volleyball. I understand.

I'd like to see pics of the people that actually got 1000 points in that game, as I recall it was a seriously tall order.

Also what's up with the art style in that screen? That better not be Kasumi else they really have messed it up and Itagaki would throw a fit.

I get the press releases for this game and it just makes me facepalm. Worse is that they want us to review the game. I will probably accept it, but man, I still try to wonder why this game is going to exist.
