Those of you who have been holding off on Darksiders because of the screen tearing issues, rejoice. According to the official blog a patch has been put together to resolve screen tearing issues on the Xbox 360 version. The game has received high praise from several members here on our forum, so this is pretty good news.
The patch should be hitting an Xbox near you this coming Wednesday.

Ah excellent. So when I finally get back to playing it after Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 (again), Final Fantasy 13 PS3, God of War 3 and Final Fantasy 360... the one most annoying issue I had with the game will be resolved.
Cool.
I like Zelda games and with all the comparisons this is getting to that series I've been quite interested in picking this up. I have to many games on my plate at the moment but I'll definitely look into picking this up in the future.
I'm definitely considering it after all the good things folks have had to say. But I'm trying to hold myself to one game or less a month right now, and for january that was bayonetta. (for february it will probably be borderlands dlc, march will be re5 gold edition, then crackdown 2 in april or may or whenever it comes out)
Yeah I bought too many games because of good deals around the holidays plus I have others that are unplayed and I'm in school so I shouldn't be spending too much so I'm going to try and limit my game purchases for a while. That being said I have No More Heroes 2 on pre-order from Amazon and it says that will be shipping soon. Darksiders is also only $42 on Amazon right now for the 360 version so I almost purchased it yesterday but I decided to hold off due to my reasoning above. I also figure that this is a game that I'll be able to get for a pretty good price later this year.
Darksiders was incredibly fun for the first few hours - but I can see why some people started thinking the combat was getting stale after a while. You do earn more weapons and combos as the game progresses, but the same three button attack will take care of most enemies.
Personally the game really didn't get to repetitive and I LOVED the dungeons and bosses, but I can see where some of the complaints came from.
I'm still only halfway through the game - and maybe if I finish up ME2 early I'll put more time into it before Bioshock2 hits. Otherwise it'll have to wait till after.
