Tiger WoodsFlorida Highway Patrol reported early Friday morning that champion golfer Tiger Woods, face of EA Sports’ Tiger Woods PGA Golf, was injured in a car crash near his home in Windemere, a suburb of Orlando.

The one-car accident happened at about 2:25am according to the incident report. Woods, 33, had pulled out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac SUV and had started driving down the street when he struck a fire hydrant and then hit a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

While the accident is being investigated, early reports indicate that alcohol was likely not involved.
